OctaGenix® - our response to the global COVID-19 pandemic

With global infection cases edging over 44 million and deaths well in excess of a million people, Covid-19 is having an unprecedented impact across the world.

At OctaGenix® we know that if critical steps are not taken to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, it will lead to extensive deaths. We estimate that COVID-19 can infect over 250 million people Worldwide and death rates can be as high as 6 million plus. These figures can fluctuate greatly depending on the success and effectiveness of testing targets, social distancing, and enforcement of directives.

Viruses are more intelligent than us human beings, COVID-19 can further mutate and will kill the most vulnerable people.

There are only two ways to combat the virus until a vaccine becomes fully available:

  • Build the "herd immunity"
  • Stop the spread of COVID-19
Herd Immunity will mirror the Spanish flu massacre, which infected one-third of the world’s population, 500 million people were infected, and the number of deaths were estimated to be at least 50 million Worldwide. We don’t know the timelines of developing herd immunity with COVID-19 nor the cost in terms of deaths and to the economy.

Stopping the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing measures is the most credible approach, to deal with the spread of infection and control of the pandemic, providing that everyone follows the tough guidelines and procedures
